There is so much to consider when you are a new driver. How do you get your brain to quickly shift from the gas pedal to the brake pedal and back? What if it rains and you have to remember where the windshield wipers are located and not switch on the right turn signal by mistake? It's a lot. We know. Choosing the right car can be even more stressful. To not add more pressure to the nervousness you may be feeling, we have compiled a list of the best cars to buy for first time drivers. The Honda Civic is a very well-rounded car, not to mention…quite attractive. The new purchase price on one of these bad boys is pretty affordable. If you're getting it used, it holds its value. This car is one of the more reliable ones out there and the parts are so readily available that most repairs will be easy. As a bonus, insurance is cheaper when it comes to having one on your policy.
